Key charter rules

Summary of the Charter Terms of the Między Żaglami marina (version of 3 September 2026).

Before you set off

  1. The agreement is concluded by an adult with an identity document. The charter fee is payable in advance (price list: miedzyzaglami.pl/en/pricing).
  2. Deposit PLN 500 — in cash or as a card hold (miedzyzaglami.pl/kaucja). Returned after the boat comes back undamaged; we deduct only the actual, documented cost of repairs or missing items.
  3. No licence is required, but the helmsperson must be able to handle the boat safely; the harbour master may check this and refuse to hand over the boat (in which case the fee and the deposit are refunded). Electric boats — a briefing is mandatory.
  4. We confirm the condition of the boat and its equipment together in the handover report.

On the water

  1. Everyone wears a buoyancy aid — for the whole charter.
  2. No alcohol or drugs — neither at the helm nor on board.
  3. Person limits (children included): Omega 5 · RS Vision 4 · RS Vareo 1 · RS Aero 1 · Whaly 370 — 8 · Kontra 350 — 6.
  4. The boat is steered by the Charterer or another competent person under their supervision; children only under adult care.
  5. Sail only on Zegrze Lake. Sailing boats: at wind force 5 Bft or more we do not leave the harbour; reef when needed.
  6. Not allowed: swimming and jumping from the boat, smoking and open flames, littering into the water, loud music, towing other craft, leaving the boat unattended, DIY repairs, tampering with the motor or battery.
  7. Electric boats: watch the battery gauge and plan your return with a margin; when the charge is low — turn back.
  8. Breakdown or accident: call the marina on +48 694 491 125; danger to life — 112 / water rescue (WOPR). Rescuing people always comes before rescuing equipment — helping people is free of charge.

Return

  1. The boat comes back at the agreed time, no later than the marina's closing time. Extension — only by arrangement (also by phone).
  2. Delay over 15 min: PLN 100/h (sailing boats) or PLN 200/h (electric); after the marina closes PLN 150 / 250 per hour. No fee for a delay caused by a boat fault, a rescue operation or a sudden change in the weather.
  3. Return the boat clean and tidied up; extra cleaning — PLN 100.
  4. Services on request: towing PLN 150–350, righting a capsized yacht PLN 150–500 (price agreed before starting; free when the cause is a boat defect).
  5. Damage caused by the Charterer or crew is the Charterer's liability under general rules; the deposit is not a cap. The boats are insured (hull, third-party liability).
  6. Complaints: [email protected] — we reply within 14 days.

The controller of personal data is the Owner — Małgorzata Lubowska; GDPR notice at the marina and at miedzyzaglami.pl/en/gdpr. The marina area and the water are covered by webcam streams (general view).
